EMF Exclusive            IC Drop System

The Ice Cream Drop System is the Flagship of our Dairy Equipment line . . . But we can build so much more . . . This system is just one example. When EMF was first approached by our customer, their existing product line was suffering from continuous equipment failures and heavy expenses.  Cleaning and maintenance of the foreign machinery was costly and required extensive periods of downtime. Within weeks, Electric Metal Fab came up with a radically new approach to conveying ice cream sandwiches.  After our customer's engineers analyzed the miniature working prototype and approved the final design, the system was built as seen in the header above and the photos below.

Product Drop Belts

During the commissioning period of this new installation, Our customer was able to meet production quotas with one shift instead of two.  Product transitions were reduced from 5 to 1, resulting in waste reductions of nearly 20%.  Mechanical downtime was reduced 95%.
